Quality Assurance

A QA Analyst is a person who is responsible for the quality of the software product released to the market. A QA will determine if the software requirements from the end users are met by the developers through their design and implementation of the product. ENITT will provide you that skill set required to perform as a QA in today's complex business environment.

Desired Qualities of a QA Analyst

  • A strong desire for quality.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Tact and diplomacy are useful in maintaining a cooperative relationship with developers, and an ability to communicate with both technical (developers) and non-technical (customers, management) people is useful.
  • 'Test to break' attitude.
  • Some experience in Automation tools and when and where it could be used.
  • Aptitude for understanding technology so be in abetter position.


Work Performed by QA

  • Prepare test plan
  • Execute test plan
  • Report bugs/issues
  • Interact with developers to understand certain technical aspects to do a better testing
  • Interact with BA's and Business to clarify questions on functionality
  • Organize and participate in UAT
  • Team player
  • Understanding of QA automation tools
